Sherida M. Knoppel, LL. M.
Intellectual Property Attorney
Sherida is a graduate from the Faculty of Law of the University of Amsterdam (The U.V.A.) and she is also the founder and senior-managing partner of PARAMARKS PC. Sherida focuses her practice on global IP portfolio assisting clients to develop IP strategies to support their international business goals. She provides opinions and analyses to her worldwide clients, obtaining protecting and enforcing their IP rights in Suriname. Sherida attends on a regular basis international IP congresses to keep up with the latest IP developments worldwide. This gives her also the chance to meet with her fellow colleagues and clients to enforce their client relationship and exchange valuable up to date IP information.
Experience:
Sherida founded “ParaMarks PC” as an international oriented Law Office in 1996, a year after she graduated from The Law Faculty of the University of Amsterdam, in The Netherlands. Over the course of her career, Sherida has represented various international corporations and assisted clients in litigation and enforcement matters. Sheridae acquired a full insight in Surinamese Law and has more than twenty years of in depth experience on the field of trademarks, unfair competition, infringement and litigation.
Sherida is well able to deliver timely and perfect solutions to her clients. Sherida feels privileged and honored to serve her clients the best way she can.
